Because of its narrow profile, the residence expresses two primary elevations: one facing south toward the entry and one opening north toward Pine Lake. The south elevation carefully balances arrival and privacy. Thoughtful window placement pairs with strategic landscaping to filter views while managing direct southern sunlight across the dramatic seasonal shifts of northeast Ohio. The north elevation opens fully to the lake, maximizing expansive views and capturing soft, ambient northern light that fills the home with consistent, diffuse illumination throughout the year.
